Review on 🔋 JET Powr-Flo Throttle Body 76102 by Aaron Ali

Unfortunately, the throttle valve didn't fit me. Before purchasing I called Jet and asked directly if it would fit my application and current mods (see below) and additional power for towing and they said yes. The throttle body installed as directed, giving the computer time to relearn and adjust. The first 180 miles were normal city and highway driving. I didn't notice any noticeable increase in performance, but I did notice my MPG drop by about 1.5mpg. I also noticed that I felt like I was losing a little grunt at the top end of the rpm range. When I was hitching up our 24 foot camper trailer loaded with about 6,500 pounds, the truck actually fell. On a 3-4% incline I got pinched by floorboards and the truck hit 51 mph. Normally that wouldn't be a problem at all. Maybe I have a defective device or? but it is returned. I will also note that it appears to have been previously installed, or that it was assembled a little dirty and had screw marks on the flanges. (see photo). Silverado LTZ 4x4 5.3Volant 2012
