🔋 JET Powr-Flo Throttle Body 76102 Review

I bought one of these $204 throttle bodies with damaged packaging. It's worth the money, my standard throttle valve electronics are a thing of the past. Instead of spending $320 to cancel the ported and polished throttle body. I'm glad I took the risk and that the throttle response is amazing. I recommend this for an upgrade.

Definitely gives better throttle response if you follow the instructions correctly, even if you use a tuner, install it with your standard tweak, and then reconfigure what level of performance you want. It doesn't really increase power, but it does speed up the pedal when you step on it.

This rating is not based on product performance, but on Jet's understanding of which part number is correct for my truck. It doesn't match the 2014 Sierra 6.2 Eco Tech, they said. I even asked the technician to make sure before buying and he assured me it was the right part, but it wasn't. Only the plug didn't fit. The picture below shows the difference.

According to the [Jet Performance] website this throttle body fits the Tahoe 09 4.8L. Which has two rows of teeth. I received the item and it has 1 row of prongs. Ironically, so did the other guy who had communication issues. I wanted that on his hand and he wanted what I got. The one received has GM part numbers and is a GM factory part. So I bought this product because my throttle body was failing. I decided to spend a few bucks more on bearings and buy a Jet Performance throttle body. This initially fixed my problem, and after driving the truck for about a week, I noticed a little more crisp throttle response, which I was hoping for. Unfortunately, the throttle valve didn't fit me. Before purchasing I called Jet and asked directly if it would fit my application and current mods (see below) and additional power for towing and they said yes.
