Review on 🐟 Pyramid Fish Feeder API for Weekends and Vacations - Slow Dissolving Block Feeders to Provide Continuous Fish Food When You're Not Present by Peggy Petty

My fish were happy!

What a great product! I was very concerned that my daughter's new fish would not survive our holiday but they did a great job! I returned home after 11 days of vacation, our fish were happy and the water was clear. (Slightly cloudier than usual at the top of the water but clear throughout the pool. It just looked a little dirty, which was normal considering how long I hadn't cleaned the pool.) I usually change the water every few days. I recommend this product. However, you can do a trial run before you go to get an idea of how much your fish will be eating in a few days. For us it was perfect! IMPORTANT NOTE: This pyramid seems too big for my two small fish and the packaging says it feeds 5-10 fish. Since I only have 2 small goldfish (about 1 1/2 inches each) I was afraid that too much food would kill them. So I took a hammer and knife and cut off a large chunk of the feed block/"pyramid". (It's pretty hard (so it doesn't dissolve right away), so it took me a bit of muscle strength to cut it into smaller pieces.) When I got home, there was very little food left at the bottom of the tank, which is what the water quality was like Well. So I know it was the perfect amount of food I appreciated. When I cut this block I wanted about 1/5 of a block for my two small fish and that was the perfect amount. I'm glad I didn't use the whole piece of food. Thanks for a great product!
