I've read a few reviews that said they don't stick to Otterbox and may not stick to other types of Otterbox cases. , but I have a set of Otterbox Commuters with a hard shell over a soft shell and it bonded perfectly. I like to hold it between my fingers for long calls, rotate the phone without releasing the popsocket, play games, and flip through the phone before bed without dropping the phone on my face! I haven't had any issues with the stylus falling out of the base (another thing I've read someone had issues with) and it goes really well with my otter's teal color (it was the only color option for my phone , other than the black that everyone in my family has, so I wanted a color that I knew was mine)
