The whistles themselves are really good. They feel soft and smooth without being sticky if that makes sense. I used to work as a technician in a shop that had a lot of commuting, I've probably changed a few thousand lightbulbs in my life and when I took them out of the box I was really happy because I thought I'd found mine newer Crossing. This changed when I tried airing them out. Valves tend to stay open when fully open, they won't close fully below about 30 psi (2 bar), and best of all, valve cores tend to loosen when pump cartridges or adapters are removed, no matter how tight they are installed. Nothing can be treated. In the end I just glued the cores in place with threadlock and took extra care with the installation as I couldn't partially inflate them to make sure they didn't get pinched, but the last thing I want is extra hassle when I'm renovating one apartment, and I've never seen anything like it except for the cheapest lamps (and in fact most of those lamps are even better than these). Maybe Conti makes non-removable cores with better valves? I do not know. I can try to find something else because, like above, the tubes themselves seem very good. I'm just glad I didn't buy one of these as a backup and have to figure out how to get it working roadside without the extra tools and chemicals and tons of time trying to get it working. .
