We like this filtration system because it's easy to install, is invisible under the sink and filters out the chlorine taste in our water. We've bought new filters for it many times in the three years we've had it. The only disappointing thing is that the flow rate drops off quite quickly over time. We are in San Francisco and our cold water was flowing at 1.6 gallons per minute (gpm) before the filter was installed. Immediately after installing a new filter, the flow rate is 1.2 gpm, which is pretty tolerable, but over the next two months it drops to 0.7 gpm, after which it levels off. The final flow is so annoying that I finally measured our last one every week or two after fitting it. The schedule is attached. I'm not sure why the flow rate increases slightly after two months, but I ran each measurement three times and the discrepancy between consecutive measurements was never greater than 1%. In practice, we swap ours out about every 100 days.
