it's a great tool maybe for a pro and people with bad hands as it's easy on hands considering that you don't have to press to use it. Also probably only recommended for those whose hair curls easily and holds the curls easily. I have coarse hair that is very difficult to curl and this causes it to frizz (at the highest temperature). Curls don't hold at all :( Also, since you have to pull it through your hair, you can't use a sticky product because your hair will stick to the plates and be harder to comb out, resulting in torn/stretched hair. Am It's best to use a good old curling iron so you can spray hairspray and not pull!If the curl held up better, it wouldn't need to keep as much hairspray c, but unfortunately that doesn't apply to my thick, coarse hair.
