Very good quality and a must for new vehicles where the trailer plug is far from the hitch. This adapter will work for all 5 pin applications and most 4 pin applications. I have a 2008 Ram with a 7-pin socket at license plate height, which makes it impossible to use non-extended adapters with most trailers as the trailer wiring rarely extends more than 6-8 inches past the hitch. on the trailer.
