Review on Unleash The Power Of Mythology With Gamewright'S Zeus On The Loose Card Game by Philip Anderson

Learning game in disguise!

My 10 year-old loves this game! He asks to play it regularly, and doesn't mind that it is a learning game. The game comes with the deck of cards, and a Zeus character. It is played in rounds. The round ends when the cards add up to 100 or more, and whomever is in possession of Zeus, wins the round, gaining one of the four letters of Zeus' name (think the game HORSE in basketball). Once a player collects all 4 letters in Zeus' name, that player is the winner. It is fairly quick, depending on how many rounds it takes for one player to complete Zeus' name.

Pros
  • The gameplay is both challenging and satisfying
Cons
  • Too simplistic for long-lasting fun
