Honestly, either this company delivers hack or the product description is an outright lie. This was our second purchase that arrived DOA. The first purchase of this product was to add solar panels to our new camper. Wanted to primarily run our 325w fridge and very rarely our small microwave. We should have immediately realized that the claim of 1500W continuous power was wrong after reading the specs in the manual and looking at the cable size included in the box. Such a thin wire at 12V has huge cable losses (cable resistance increases significantly in 12V systems at higher power). After spending a large chunk upgrading the wiring to high gauge to handle the current draw, we attempted to start the fridge. The inverter starts and switches off immediately. Note that this is a 325W Dometic fridge powered by a "1500W" inverter with a claimed peak power of 3000W. We measured the battery's voltage loss as it tried to run and we saw a 0.8V drop in our upgraded cables and we were still well above the under-voltage protection limit of this inverter, but it still didn't work. Then I tried the microwave, which also didn't start, even when plugged directly into the inverter with a short extension cord. The maximum we could squeeze out of this inverter was around 200 watts for charging a TV and laptop. After much troubleshooting and wasted time (which was eaten up by the return window), the device failed completely within the second month of use. And for those who doubt that our wiring can withstand these loads: Then we went to a big box. Shop and bought a 1000w pure sine wave inverter at the appropriate price and wired it up in the RV exactly like this unit. Everything works perfectly.
