Probably better than nothing.
It could be better than nothing. Hardly. When the roller, never anywhere near saturated on a single coat, touches it, color reveals beneath the area it covers. The tape has nice straight lines, but between the paint seeping underneath and the paint it drags with it, the line is quite wavy. Then there's the part where he rips jagged chunks of paint off the wall. No problems with store bought masking tape, not with this brand. At best, that's a little better than nothing. I switched to a green colored band I bought from Amazon and now I have clean, perfect lines.
