After reading the reviews and doing my research this seemed like the best option, with a scale inhibitor built into the filter cartridge I think it's a good design. I've used L-type copper weld fittings on everything and they work great. The threads are a little tight and took a lot of effort to get them attached properly so that's my only complaint. I attached the hose to the bottom of the drain pipe because it was so close to the other pipe and found that the nozzle wobbled a bit when pushing on the bottom of the filter housing, which bothered me at first, but it seems ok. Set in front of Culligan 50 micron and 3m water puree. Make sure your teflon wraps are even.
