One of the worst FIDs on the market

These FIDs are among the worst and most difficult to use on the market. It is very difficult to get the jackets or cores into the feeders and difficult to keep them there without a significant amount of tape. Their only attraction is probably their relatively low cost. I'm surprised this kit bears the name of Sampson Ropes, an otherwise well-respected manufacturer. I sent my set back and replaced it with the widely used and tried and tested Ronstan splice set (55376).
