Great little ball head. It's similar to the RRS version, but they've improved some key details, making it a much better one. The "ears" of the locking knob are shorter and the axis higher, which means the ears/handle rotate without hitting anything underneath. You can still pull out and rotate the handle in case it hits the clamp or tripod when you're at an odd angle. He is very strong for his size. It has no way of pivoting without releasing the ball and it's all on a locking button. This is great for me as there are fewer things in your path as I almost never use the pan function. If you need it, the larger lh-30 adds this feature. It easily supports my a7ria with my Tamron 150-600! The small clamp is also good and strong enough, with a large handle to allow for easy tightening. I have two of these as well as sunwayfoto fb-28 and rrs bh-25 and this is by far my favorite of the trio.
