Good ball head, lousy clamp screw

Great semi budget head but the screw holding the arca swiss clamp is poor quality material, over tightened and breaks when loosened. It's no good if you want to use your own clamp.

  • good stuff
Cons

Great little head on tripod heads

I will add another 5 star review to this very nice little head. I sent back the large LeoFoto 55 ball head but this small one is a gem; Ideal for compact or table tripods. The included storage pouch is better than the pouch that comes with a $1,000 lens!

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Minor issues

Well made smooth mini ball head

Very well made and extremely strong for its size. Used it easily on her small table tripod with a heavy DSLR and 24-70mm lens. It only has a loosen/tighten knob, which doesn't make it particularly useful for panoramas, although it does have a rotation scale printed on it.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Fine

MY GOD. GREAT! RRS has a competitor!

EXCELLENT! Gotta get out the back door of the RRS! (Maybe better.) I've never heard of LEOFOTO but now I'm a fan and will try them first when I'm looking for more gear. Packed in a good case (not really necessary), an Allen key, a thread adapter, a special key for the adapter, instructions and a warranty card. The photos in the listing do not show the quick release plate, but it is definitely there. Well! BY THE WAY. I paid full price and no discount. (Still standing.)

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not bad

The perfect compact tripod ball head

This ball head is made of high quality material and is very well made. It is compact yet durable. I've used it with a 24-70mm zoom lens and a 105mm prime lens with no play. Twist the handle a little and it fixes the ball without slipping. At 25mm the clamp might not be wide enough to work with a full size case so I replaced it with a 38mm clamp from the same manufacturer. I then paired it with a semi-thick SunwayFoto PT-39R 39mm Arca-compatible camera for a perfect setup for a full-frame…

It doesn't get any better!

I just received this head a few minutes ago. After putting it on a tripod, my first thought was to give it FIVE STARS. I've been a professional photographer for fifty years this fall and this is the BEST ballhead I've ever owned. Now I shoot with mirrorless cameras and I've always wanted an adjustment knob. THAT'S IT! Bought after several weeks of searching for tripods and ball heads. I found the tripod I wanted but wasn't happy with the ball head although it was high quality. Having decided to

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Lightweight and professional

This ball head is exactly what I wanted. While I know this is a fake Really Right Stuff BH-25, I just couldn't afford to buy the real one. As far as I can tell, it has been completely rebuilt. It's all metal, sleek and professional looking. I used it for a personal project to make my own tripod out of trekking poles. It comfortably supports the weight of my Sony A6000 and my Canon EOS 70D. It's also pretty lightweight and very easy to use. A notch on the side allows the camera to switch to full

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Quality

The best bang for your buck is a small ball head.

Great little ball head. It's similar to the RRS version, but they've improved some key details, making it a much better one. The "ears" of the locking knob are shorter and the axis higher, which means the ears/handle rotate without hitting anything underneath. You can still pull out and rotate the handle in case it hits the clamp or tripod when you're at an odd angle. He is very strong for his size. It has no way of pivoting without releasing the ball and it's all on a locking button. This is…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Crumpled

The little giant growls.

All reviews are 5 stars so you can add mine. First, the LH-25 isn't cheap compared to cheap heads, but when you've got a 5000+ camera on your head, being cheap isn't particularly wise anyway. For the current price of this ball head, a steal: it's very small with good strength, it's silky smooth, reasonable for the price and better than the price, the paddle handle takes 3/4 turn from loosest to tight to lock, and it's lightweight, but apparently hard. The only flaw I've encountered is that…

  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Working speed
