When you open the box, first realize that this replacement part is very different from the original part that you take out of the door. I went to the local parts store and made sure the part I ordered wasn't the one in the box. They let me open the box that contained the same part. After another (more deliberate and less angry) attempt, I was able to install the product, with one exception that everyone else cites. This product will require you to check your tin of nuts and bolts as it comes with different mounting hardware than the original came with. However, Dorman does not respond to reviews on the site. This complaint is a common theme in every review I've read. Looking at the Dorman video, one might get the impression that it is a domestic product. No, that is not so. It works and Amazon sells it for as good a price as you can find. I recommend this product. Just be prepared to figure it all out for yourself for a moment or two as it's not an exact replica of the part you're pulling. Takes about an hour and change of clothes to get the job done. They don't recommend this, but I just pulled out the old window and cleaned the edges that slide along the track. Significant plaque has accumulated over 15 years of operation.
