Step back into binocular, camera and camcorder straps

I have an older version of this innovative strap. Thinking I had lost it because of the upcoming trip, I ordered a new model. I will probably return it. The good news is that the strap is attractive enough (compared to its predecessor) to keep your camera secure. I like to carry my DSLR in the Peak Camera Clip while walking and then clip it on when I'm actually shooting. You can lean right over this bridge and the cuff will cover your back. Absolutely bad, what were you thinking? A new feature is the magnetic "button" that secures the band to your wrist. When not in use, the cuff is a solid bracelet. Then the old cuff was attached to the wrist with the clip; The new one uses a small magnet to hold the cuff in place. That does not work. are you wearing a jacket You will "unbuckle" the cuff. Carry a $230 PD backpack while wearing cuff? You will untie him. Get lost in the crowd? You *are* until you put the cuff on, letting it sway annoyingly until you notice. A NOTICE. This doesn't limit the cuff when actually using it to hold the camera. But the idea behind handcuffs is that you can put them on and then forget about them until you pick up your camera that day (I got back from Hawaii this morning; handcuffs only left my wrist for volcano-heated pools and bedtime). ). The first cuff, which tended to curl up, always held securely on my wrist. This is a shockingly poorly executed design by the normally thoughtful folks at PD.
