This was a stupid gift for my partner. Unfortunately, they accidentally shorted out and stopped working after the second use. I say "accidentally" because while they were sitting on the counter waiting to be taken away, one accidentally started glowing faintly in the middle of the night. I tried turning it off (thought we must have accidentally left it on) but it wasn't on and pressing the power button didn't help. It lasted a few hours, but eventually the battery died. On the plus side they were very bright and the broken one was a great night light until it died.
