It seems to work very well on my server for all work based on a Supermicro A1SRM-2558F motherboard running FreeBSD 10.2 with a 3-way ZFS mirror for provided files/data is running. I chose ZFS for its anti-Bitroth feature because TB of backups in various states of decay was driving me insane. The Atom processor on the board turned out to be surprisingly powerful (when running the scrub, it checks the quality of the current 3 x 250 GB of data in about 45 minutes), so I decided not only to make the box a file server, but also a local network name server (nsd) as well as a local FAMP toy server (FreeBSD 10.2, Apache 2.4, MariaDB 10.1 and PHP 7.0). Since I also installed XFCE4 on X11 for convenience, the total reduces the original 16GB considerably, the top told me, so I just ordered 16 more to give him a breather.
