Great product for my purposes. The stretching takes some getting used to. I'm towing my 5 year old next door and some of the roads are a bit uphill. (He's not on training wheels.) It's easy going uphill as long as I pedal a little harder, and going downhill just as easily as long as we're both on the brakes. We don't stop or turn, we drive all the time. The scariest thing for me is when we're flattening out and my son's bike gets too close to mine, I have to tell him to slow down while I'm trying to accelerate, or if he gets too far I feel my bike. Step back and try pedaling a little faster to counteract both situations. I'm nervous about the fact that I'm going to shoot him with a slingshot or he might fall off the bike and be dragged away, but that didn't happen. He always recovers, but even after a dozen rides it still makes me nervous. It could be because his bike is so small or so light compared to mine. My 7 year old has no problem walking uphill. It's still difficult for me to drive and follow traffic when it's connected, so we have to stop for cars. Another thing I noticed is that he stops pedaling when he gets tired and that makes my job a lot easier. We finish our trip, which is good, while previously we had to stop and walk home, but I was dead tired after dragging it through the surrounding streets for about a mile.
