Didn't know shafts sold separately until I saw them in my queue. They are perfect for two of my favorite oil spill bottles that I no longer use because their caps had deteriorated over the years. They are back in circulation with additional spare parts! I had to squeeze them hard the first time, but they've been good at refilling bottles ever since. The little funnel is a welcome addition. Gold shines a little, but that's a matter of personal taste. I like them better than the ones I've had before as they completely cover the spout and keep the oil fresh.
