Edelmann have been around for quite some time (more than 100 years I think) and their fittings and hoses are generally of good quality. So I ignored the people on youtube asking us to buy genuine OEM Honda parts. This hose is about 1/2 the cost. When it arrived I noticed that the rubber flex part was significantly smaller than the factory hose. Time will tell if that matters, but everything (including the curves) was there and fitted well. Be prepared for significant oil loss during installation. Also, the factory-installed hose at the end of the rack and pinion is very narrow, and there is very little room to grab a wrench. The union nut is very easy to round off without removing it. I'd say a "line wrench" is necessary, but you'll have a hard time getting it on the nut if it's rounded - so be careful. good luck on top. If, like me, you can't loosen it up, you can do what I did. I cut the metal pipe with a mini pipe cutter next to the nut. Once that's done you can use the socket to remove the nut.
