Ok quality. best in Pressure Hoses

Hose looks decent and came with new o-rings. The part that sucked was removing the rubber isolators and changing to a new one, which was excruciating.

  • Pressure Hoses
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Missing disclosures. for spares

The Revain listing says this item will be compatible with my 2005 Honda Odyssey. But the hose didn't have the necessary rubber grommets to hold it in place. If I install it as is, it could potentially bounce and rub against other hot parts of the engine.

All fits and curves are perfect. Now fast forward five months later

There are no leaks in the hose around any fittings. I bought this hose to replace the factory high pressure hose on my Honda Odyssey '07. Replacing this hose takes about 2 hours. All fits and curves are perfect. Now we fast forward five months later. The hose is leaking badly. Hose leaks are related to the actual hose material. No leaks at fittings or ferrules connecting metal to hose. The material does not withstand pressure. Now it's leaking more than what he replaced. I checked it and now…

Fits but requires a little more work than OEM due to missing components.

Please note that the purchase of this item requires slightly more assembly work than the OEM version. In particular, this part does not include the rubber bumpers that hold the metal tube to the frame and the rubber grommet that is used with the upper bracket for the rubber part of the hose. You will need to use a sharp knife to cut these pieces off the hose you are replacing. Because the rubber hose is smaller, there is also space between the bushing and the clamp. Otherwise it was a good fit.

  • Steering system
Cons
  • Very expensive

Edelmann have been around for quite some time (more than 100 years I think) and their fittings and hoses are generally of good quality. So I ignored the people on youtube asking us to buy genuine OEM Honda parts. This hose is about 1/2 the cost. When it arrived I noticed that the rubber flex part was significantly smaller than the factory hose. Time will tell if that matters, but everything (including the curves) was there and fitted well. Be prepared for significant oil loss during…
