Review on πŸ”§ Edelmann 92164 Steering Pressure Hose: Enhanced Performance for Efficient Steering by Craig Waters

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fits but requires a little more work than OEM due to missing components.

Please note that the purchase of this item requires slightly more assembly work than the OEM version. In particular, this part does not include the rubber bumpers that hold the metal tube to the frame and the rubber grommet that is used with the upper bracket for the rubber part of the hose. You will need to use a sharp knife to cut these pieces off the hose you are replacing. Because the rubber hose is smaller, there is also space between the bushing and the clamp. Otherwise it was a good fit. There are several installation videos on YouTube. In general, the easiest way to remove the old part is to cut the metal tube and then unscrew the metal tube from the connector to the post. This allows you to use a standard socket to remove the rack mount. It is recommended to use a crowfoot wrench to tighten the rack-side connector.

Pros
  • Steering system
Cons
  • Very expensive
