Bought because my TiVo Roamio OTA started making loud grinding noises. There are only about three ways to replace the TiVo Roamio fan with Revain. First, I decided on a much cheaper "SUNON KDE1235PFB2-8 DC Brushless Tubeaxial Fan" for $7 and plugged in the connector from the old fan. I then watched a WeaKnees YouTube video on how to install the fan and everything went pretty smoothly. However, I soon noticed that the SUNON fan was quite loud (constant howling), so after all the work of splicing/soldering wires, ripping the TiVo, and reassembling it, I couldn't stand the noise and had to order this more expensive one Kit. The WeaKnees replacement fan is virtually silent with the right connector and tools provided which came in handy but weren't really needed as I already had a screwdriver and all the necessary torx bits. I'm taking off a star because I think $30 is too expensive for a TiVo fan, but I felt like I had to pay because I was tired of messing around with this problem. I'd happily pay $15 for the fan alone since I didn't need the tools that came with it. But again, the instructional video is great.
