Review on 🔒 Brass Mortise Lock Set - Prime-Line Products E 2293, 1-3/8" x 1-3/4 by Marcus Loeffler

I have a 120 year old house and am renovating. Most of the house has original mortise locks. The attic was an exception. For some reason it was missing, it just didn't have a handle on it. I chose this one because I didn't want to spend $100 on a set of pens. This is a very good value set and it worked great. Easy to disassemble and switch to right or left opening. I would probably go for the more expensive option for doors that are used more often, like bedrooms and the like. It's not really hard work, but it works and looks great on my attic door. The only criticism is the screws. The heads are too big to fit flush so I went to the hardware store and bought some smaller heads. For the money, this insert set is definitely a good buy.
