Review on πŸ”© Engine Mount Anchor 9247 by Harry Tulsa

Ideal for OEM assembly.

I bought this to replace the front engine mount on my 2005 Honda Accord 2.4 liter engine and manual transmission. It is perfectly suitable for OEM assembly and fits perfectly. It has a vacuum port at the bottom. As you can see from the photo, my old mount didn't have this connector. I think it might make the mount stiffer without a vacuum hose at idle, but I didn't discover this until I removed the old mount. I do feel the car vibrates a bit more when idling, but it's not bad for me to buy another mount without the vacuum port option. I had to drain the engine coolant and disconnect the coolant hose that went right over the bracket. I don't think it would be possible to remove the bracket without moving the hose. Also, I used a 24" extension and an 18" breaker to loosen the four bolts holding the bracket to the car. After that, installation was easy.
