I'll start by noting that I'm not a hairdresser and I don't even cut my hair as a hobby. However, I started cutting my son's hair because it was convenient and I saved a few bucks. So this review is written from the point of view of someone who knows nothing about clippers but has bought them, used them and been happy with the results. Since nobody has reviewed these scissors, I thought I'd at least add my 2 cents. I have never used anything other than the cheap Wahl scissors that come with the clippers and have been looking for a reasonably priced alternative. These scissors exceeded all my expectations. Pros: Semi-blunt scissor tips prevent accidental cuts (which I prefer to avoid). My previous scissors had sharp ends which didn't make sense to me - Great case to keep the scissors in good condition - Removable rubber grip rings to accommodate different finger sizes - Removable finger rest - Very sharp, apparently high quality finish, nice finish - Scissors can be disassembled for sharpening - Price: much better for the price than the cheap scissors that come in a set Cons: - I found the finger holes a bit small but removing the rubber ring on the thumb solved the problem for me. The scissors are not exactly the same as in the photo. The case is different, as is the name engraved on the blade. I don't know if the scissors in the picture are better or worse but that's the only reason I didn't give the scissors 5 stars. At the very least, the seller should update the information to avoid confusion. I don't care what brand my scissors are, but if the seller did it with a pocket knife or some other item of interest to me, I would be upset if the brand switched to me. Maybe what I have is better, but the description should still be correct. I've uploaded my own photos so you can see how it turns out. As I said in the beginning, I'm not an expert and can only compare them to the ones I've used. However, I can say that these scissors cut a ton better than my $10 scissors and they are worth the money.
