Review on Efficient Hardwired LED Under Cabinet Lighting: Dimmable, Wide Body Design, And Long-Lasting Metal Base by Chris Bhatia

Bought two of these 12” lights to replace old T5 fixtures under two cabinets in our kitchen. Installation was fairly easy, and the light output was pretty nice. Unfortunately, when I returned to the amazon page to order four 24” inch replacements for the remaining T5 lights in our kitchen, the 24” version was no longer available (even though it had only been two weeks since I ordered the 12” version.and the 24” version was supposedly available at that time).Since then, I’ve spent HOURS online trying to find an alternate seller so I could order 24” LED lights that MATCH the 12” lights I had just installed. The seller (Hawk Lighting) that I purchased the 12” lights from here on amazon also has an eBay page that claimed they had "more than 10 available” of the exact 24” version that I needed. Ordered four.and was soon notified that they actually had NONE. Found a few different merchants on eBay that also claimed to have "more than 10 available” of this exact 24” fixture.placed my order(s).and was again notified that they didn’t actually have any either. So I’ve given up on finding this brand of LED replacement for the remaining four fluorescent fixtures in our kitchen (I guess the manufacturer isn’t even producing them anymore) and just placed an order for replacement bulbs for the old 21” T5 fixtures. I’m really hoping the light color/output are a close enough match for the 12” led fixtures that I’ve already installed, since I discarded the two old 12” T5 fixtures. If I had known they would no longer offer the 24” led fixtures so soon after I ordered the 12” ones, I would NOT have ordered this brand. In fact, in hindsight, it would’ve been much easier to just replace ALL of the old fluorescent bulbs and never even bothered trying to upgrade to LEDs, since there’s really no energy savings with the LEDs compared to the T5s.and if either of these 12” LED fixtures malfunctions in the future, I have no confidence that I’ll even be able to purchase a replacement 12” fixture if/when that happens.Bottom line: I would give these LED fixtures four stars (if I only needed the 12” version).but give the seller (Hawk Lighting) ONE STAR since they wasted a lot of my time by not properly updating their inventory (on both this site and eBay). Would NOT recommend this seller for any other purchases.
