Review on Efficient Set of 50 Washing Machine Lint Trap Snare Fabric Mesh with Ties by Marta Bruns

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love these so much I want to buy another set just in case!

I used to buy lint collectors that you could find at Kroger or your local supermarket, but then I realized I paid VERY much too much for this product. After doing some price comparisons and reading reviews I settled on a 50 Piece Drawstring Washing Machine Strainer and I couldn't be happier! We have a lot of crap going through our wash cycles: two dogs that shed like crazy, a long haired cat and then me who sheds like an animal too. There's always something getting clogged with hair between our drains and our laundry, so we need to find good, solid products that can trap those things and keep most of them out of our pipes. To be honest, when I first got this product I had a lot of doubts that it would do the job, so I put three of them together and gave it a try. They are well done. They don't fall apart or fall apart after a few washes, which I think is a huge win, and they come with everything you need to install. Each comes complete with two lint sleeves held together with a rubber band and a pack of ties for attaching to the washing machine drain hose. After several loads of laundry, I realized that using three lint collectors would be overkill and reduced the number to two. run through the washing machine and whether we wash dog blankets. As you can see from the photos, they get pretty crowded and knobby. But they catch a lot of lint, hair and everything else in our underwear. They are very easy to change. The manufacturer says you can take the zip ties off and on, but I've never had success with that so I just cut them off with scissors and then tightened the next set. Takes less than a minute. I am 150% happy with my purchase and almost want to buy another set in case they sell, move or go bankrupt!

Pros
  • IS NOT FOR USE WITH DRAIN FITTINGS.
Cons
  • Slightly torn
