Easy enough to track. I'm no expert but I've taken a few courses so I know what I'm doing. The strings they offer in the pack are definitely more than adequate for this, with some colors not even being used according to the instructions. So I improvised a bit thinking I had enough to finish and didn't follow the dye/stitch instructions to the letter T. However, I have to say that the picture does not match the instructions. Excellent. There are ways to sew cacti that I didn't like. In a way I can see that for a true beginner it would be very difficult to follow the photography and do it accordingly. So I improvised again and did it my way. All in all it was a good project to keep me busy and doing something I was good at and I intend to gift it to a friend who also loves the llama so it's a worthwhile project in the end . Definitely recommend!
