Cute but takes time

This is my second embroidery pattern. The llama pattern is a little tricky and I haven't finished it yet. First I drew a cactus and if you're not careful you'll get lost trying to find the lighter colors that should be the spines of the cactus. I love that it's challenging because there's nothing else going on in that brain during my quarantine.

Pros
  • Material: Nitrogen; Tires: thick plastic, bamboo color. Plastic material, not easy to rust.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Fun project!

Easy enough to track. I'm no expert but I've taken a few courses so I know what I'm doing. The strings they offer in the pack are definitely more than adequate for this, with some colors not even being used according to the instructions. Excellent. There are ways to sew cacti that I didn't like. In a way I…

Pros
  • The nitrogen is printed with blue ink and is water soluble so it can be washed off after embroidering.
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Frustrating but good value

Cute patterns but very boring as only three different stitches are used (straight stitch, purl stitch and french knot). However, I will not limit myself to just using stitches in the pattern. The guide mentioned is so small that I made an enlarged (150%) copy and still had to use a magnifying glass. Splitting a 6-ply thread into a 4-ply thread takes MANY and MANY times, and the (poor?) thread gets tangled. very easy. To top it off, the fabric is incredibly rough and stiff, difficult to work…

Pros
  • Embroidery kit includes: 1 piece of fabric with base card, 1 hoop, some thread, some needles and 1 set of instructions.
Cons
  • Doubtful
