Didn't work for me at all

I read a lot of good reviews about this product on bike forums and various sales sites, so I was very happy to buy and try it. I had a loan from a non-Revain supplier so I put it on this tool. Bottom line, I just damaged the instrument and threw my back out. The teeth on this thing are too small to fit snugly in the cassette's groove and the metal is too thin to fill the space between the cassette and my frame. So when I tried to pedal and let go of the cassette, the instrument slipped out of position, the cassette's teeth were biting my teeth, the plastic protector was chewed up, and my upper back spasmed. I just made this tape. with a full size hand tool about three weeks earlier so that no rust or anything else could block the cartridge. To be sure, after turning it back, I used my full size cartridge eject tool and the cartridge popped off immediately. If you absolutely need this for travel, be sure to test it out before heading out. I'm really glad I didn't wait to break a spoke on the driveway when I was a hundred miles from home. If that doesn't work for you either, check out a product called Fibre-Fix, which is a very strong cord that can be threaded through a wheel and used as a temporary spoke replacement. It might not last forever, but at least you can count on making it home or to the nearest bike shop.
