Review on Plantronics MX200 FlexGrip Universal Earbud Headset - 2.5mm & 3.5mm: The Ultimate Audio Solution by Dawn Robinson

I might up this rating a bit once I get my own adapter and see if/how the headset actually works, but since it comes as a 2.5mm AND 3.5mm is advertised as a mm headset and the unsuspecting buyer might think it is one headset and there is an adapter for the other. But that's not the case. It is ONLY 2.5mm and cannot be used with a 3.5mm phone unless you buy your own adapter. So I can't properly review this fraudulent product yet. Well, before you say it's a seller's problem, not a product's, I also have to tell you that the packaging says it's 3.5mm. Nowhere does it say "both" or "2.5 mm". It only says 3.5mm. It is therefore hardly possible to blame the seller for this error. What bothers me the most is the price. I've found excellent quality 2.5mm headsets that are insanely cheap, while their 3.5mm counterparts are significantly more expensive. I always prefer not to buy them because I haven't been able to use adapters for this purpose in the past. But this one is comparable in price to the 3.5mm version, but not only is it NOT 3.5mm, it's lying. As for the seller, while I don't think they are necessarily responsible for this misrepresentation, I will still see if they do the right thing and refund at least part of the amount for the misrepresentation. I would never pay $15 for a 2.5mm lens, especially one that doesn't even come with its own adapter. Buyers be careful.
