If you're looking for a FitBit-style smartwatch without paying the FitBit price tag, look no further. I was looking for a fitness tracker that would record all the things I would expect (heart rate, SpO2, sleep, steps, etc.) and this one does the job perfectly. This watch is unique in that it doesn't track calorie consumption based on steps, instead giving you "scores" based on how much energy you expend during a particular activity. For example, if you just walk casually. On a flat surface, he understands that and doesn't give you many points. However, if you're working hard to get uphill and your heart rate increases, he'll perceive it as a more strenuous activity and give you more points, even if it's the same number of steps. I like it because it gives you a "more real" idea of how much exercise you're getting instead of just patting yourself on the back for running more. The sleep tracking is a bit finicky and tracks all of your sleep. , for me it tracks everything but the first hour or so of sleep, so that's something to be aware of. The heart rate monitor is pretty good, although I've compared it to manually measuring my heart rate and found it to be somewhere between 10 and 30% at times. The battery life is fantastic. The watch is advertised with a 2 week battery life (I think) but that assumes the heart rate monitor is checking your BPM every 10 minutes. Mine is set to check every minute and it still stays charged for about 2-3 days which is fine by me. In addition, the screen brightness is set to maximum and the screen auto-off time is set to 20 seconds. Overall this is a really great watch for the price and it will do the same thing as the more expensive FitBit but for less.
