I'm still evaluating this product and trying to control two TVs that are 60ft from the main set top box. At this point, it seems like the quality of the ethernet cable is a HUGE part of whether it works or not. Initially I tried 100ft flat CAT6 ethernet cables and they didn't work at all, especially when rolled up or crossed over each other. I then tried shielded CAT6A cables and they worked fine on one TV but not on another. I then switched to expensive outdoor CAT7 shielded cables and they've worked best so far, with only the occasional random drop out every few hours or so. It seems to be cutting edge technology. I can't imagine this working at the specified distance limit. They should be more specific in their advertising regarding cable requirements. By the way, I have a typical residential environment with no heavy equipment that creates RF or electrical interference. I'll try a 4-port HDMI splitter using HDMI fiber optic cables ($$$) and if it works better I'll probably return this expansion kit which I had high hopes for.
