This is good for sending signals to 2 remote locations and has local transmission capability for HDMI so you don't lose your local access. It works well and seems pretty reliable. This device converts the HDMI signal to a Cat 6 cable that you can run to a remote location and has 2 receivers that convert the signal back to HDMI. It also has the ability to send IR signals back to the source.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than other options

Quick and easy setup

Have used a similar product before and found it very difficult to set up. Not so with this one. Category 5 cables assembled, Category 5 cables installed and HDMI cables. I ran an HDMI signal through the system and both TVs got a nice picture. Works great to broadcast the signal live to two other locations. Recommended, truly plug and play, no fiddling with settings or programming, it works right out of the box! I also love the HDMI pass-through so you can see your picture locally!

Unreliable after two tries

I've had this product for about a year between the two I received. The supplier sent me a new one when all the parts failed after a few months. It was great until a few months ended up the same way with the new one. When they stop working, they suddenly stop working and nothing helps. Nothing added or removed. No one even touched the device until it failed. Just an unreliable machine if you want it to last more than a few months.

Simple and works well Good for audio and video accessories

In the church we use this to separate two projectors. The distance is probably 100 feet of cable or so. We used to use VGA and extension cords. It worked, but there were always bands, inconsistent colors, and other artifacts. We replaced the fluorescent lights with LEDs, which helped reduce the noise level. I bought a new projector and it helped, but nothing made the picture perfect until I switched to HDMI with this splitter. The colors are so much brighter, it looks like we have two new…

Best Fragile Technology in Accessories & Consumables

I'm still evaluating this product and trying to control two TVs that are 60ft from the main set top box. At this point, it seems like the quality of the ethernet cable is a HUGE part of whether it works or not. Initially I tried 100ft flat CAT6 ethernet cables and they didn't work at all, especially when rolled up or crossed over each other. I then tried shielded CAT6A cables and they worked fine on one TV but not on another. I then switched to expensive outdoor CAT7 shielded cables and they've

Easy to set up, POE doesn't work

My setup passes the HDMI 1080 signal to two screens over a 30m CAT6 cable. At first the installation didn't go as planned as I expected these devices to be POE compatible. Although the guide mentions that these devices are POE compatible, it says nothing about what exactly is required for this. However, in my case, the power from the main transmitter is not powering the receivers. Now my kit comes with 3 power supplies and I was planning on installing back boxes behind the screens anyway so one

Works as advertised. used with MacBook Air

I used this to display video on two different MacBook Air TVs. I connected an HDMI cable from a MacBook Air (via a USB to HDMI adapter) to the HDMI INPUT port of this AGPtEK splitter. I used a 100ft Cat6 Ethernet cable from one of the Cat6 output ports and a 35ft Cat6 Ethernet cable from the other output port, connected them to the included Ethernet to HDMI converter and the HDMI -Cable connected to each TV. In my setup I had to connect the TV to a more powerful audio source. My plan was to…
