There is nothing not to like about this product. It fits my Dewalt grinder perfectly, easy to install and the velcro pad works great. I've replaced this pad twice in my grinder's life, so I'm glad it's easy to fix. The structural part of this product is a hard drive through which mounting screws are attached. Others say it's "plastic". To me it looks more like thin, rigid fiberglass, similar to the material PC boards are made of. In short, it's very powerful. Highly recommended!
