I bought this item in October 2014. In January 2015, with normal use, the top of the hook holder broke off. I assumed it was because it was getting too cold. So I used the second sleeve. The other day (July 2015), in the middle of summer, the second one broke in the same place as the first. I can't think of any other excuse for this problem other than the manufacturer's poor choice of plastic. The retainers worked well enough while they lasted. However, they didn't last long enough. I am currently looking for a different nameplate holder but would not consider buying this make and model again.
