I bought this hoping it would warm my bird cage a bit as I now have a cat and can't keep her in my house so my two budgies are on my enclosed porch in mine Cage. I live in Florida so it's always nice and warm here which is how they like it! I'm always putting things in their cage and pushing things around and of course they fly to the other side like birds that get scared but do. it was different. When I put that in the cage my birds flew to the other side, I tried to run a hose and put a heater where my kids will be together and I hear that animal sound was not like a bird, it was very disturbing. creepy sound. Out of the corner of my eye it felt like slow motion and I see my favorite bird falling and hitting the ground so hard as I try to figure out what is going on in slow motion but I see her breathing slow and her eyes are groggy , and I saw She takes her last breath and closes her eyes! I know people will say 'It's just a bird' but it's not the one I loved and took care of for 3 years! We moved to Georgia from Long Beach, California by car two years ago! She survived! Then from Georgia to Florida! She traveled more than most people in her life. My heart aches so much in places I haven't known. It's so tragic and heartbreaking. And I'm not blaming the company or speaking badly of them, I'm just warning people that this can happen to their bird too💔💔 She had a heart attack and all I feel is so much guilt alongside the pain. Why didn't I just bring her into the room and let the cat into that room, why didn't I just heat the room with a heater instead of putting something in the cage. Now my daughter and I don't have our bird and it's my fault it's an accident but if I had changed my mind we wouldn't have to say goodbye to my beautiful Alice (in Wonderland) she was so sweet. She loved 90's R&B and her favorite song that my daughter and I sang to her was Disney's "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes". a box with her favorite mirror and other things. I don't know if a pet has died before your eyes, if so I'm sure it will touch your heart! I don't know if my other bird Avocado will survive without her, now he loved her so much and so do we, I'm just so heartbroken and beside myself. Think twice before you buy this. 🐦🥀💔💔
