I bought two sets of these boards to accommodate very long sets of mahogany decking boards. I put them together in various combinations and connected them with thick wire (e.g. a toothpick through a sandwich). The pin held them together and prevented them from sliding through the deck! They aren't hard and are made of softer plastic than we'd like. Long 2x6" lumber is never perfectly straight, so some pressure/persuasion was needed to keep some boards straight before bolting them on. In some cases these pads were squeezing. I made some hardwood spacers for some of these spots. These exact size pads are nowhere to be found and the price was spot on for my niche Bravo needs!
