Review on 🎨 ALEX Art Studio Expressions Drawing and Sketch Case Set by Kristen Reid

When my daughter saw this art set she wanted it immediately. So from a packaging/marketing perspective, the appeal of a 9-year-old girl is obvious. The set includes a mannequin and pose stand, sharpener, measuring ruler, eraser, felt tip pens, set of charcoal and set of colored pencils covering the rainbow and several in between. The case is durable and a great way to assemble the kit and keep it safe when not in use. The included guide is simplified and was enough to get them to try some of the methods. I suggested she create a pose for sports games and charcoal or paint to accent the pose - it's funny how a decent set encourages you to use all materials to create something. Your first try was great, much better than I expected. She tells me that the posing mannequin really helped her. Overall, charcoal and colored pencils are the next step up from crayons and (sigh) markers, which really allow for layering and detail. I'm excited to see how she uses this set to build and develop her skills.
