I bought this heat press last November to give away to friends and family. As it was the holidays time was short and I didn't use it until late January when my option to return to Revain expired. Anyway, the first few times I tried to use it, the vinyl didn't stick no matter what I did - turn the heat up (no), turn the heat down (no), and I ended up having to use one iron and hope for the best. After doing a little research on the internet, I decided I needed to order an infrared thermometer to measure heating accuracy. The heat press usually got about 15 degrees hotter than normal, which explained why I wasn't successful. Using a thermometer I was able to make adjustments and make some shirts for a friend as well as some canvas bags. A few weeks ago I tried to make another t-shirt and again the vinyl wasn't sticking and the heat press was working too hard. After several attempts to set it up, I finally gave up and had to use the iron again. I turned on the heat press this morning to try making another shirt and it started to heat up for about two minutes before shutting off completely. I've tried turning it on multiple times with no success. I am very disappointed as I have only been able to use this item successfully a couple of times and certainly not enough to guarantee what I paid for it. I contacted Revane, who put me in contact with the seller. The seller apologized for the "inconvenience" but since the 30-day warranty had expired, they don't want to do anything else. yes it was high
