Review on Dorman M630881 Brake Master Cylinder by Jay Lee

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Supplied fully disassembled no fitting instructions

If you were to buy this based on the photos you would think it comes fully assembled but you would be wrong. Each part comes in a plastic bag, which wouldn't be a big deal if it came with assembly instructions, but all it has are instructions on how to bleed the brakes. As a bonus, assembly instructions are not available on the Dorman website or any other website I can find. You have to figure out how it fits together and the gaskets that you eventually convince yourself don't fit in that part actually go to the piston in the brake booster. I'm pretty sure the copper washer goes between the piston and the master cylinder cup. That's where I put it, but my original master cylinder didn't have it. I had to keep this version of the Build-A-Bear master cylinder because after waiting I don't have time to send it back and order elsewhere or I'd be happy to return this not-so-fun Lego project. I'll most likely die in an accident if it doesn't work the way it's supposed to, which is why I wanted to pre-check it.
