Review on 🪚 Steelex D3653 8 Inch Heavy Forstner: Precision Drilling Powerhouse for Woodworking Projects by Brett Robinson

Not what I expected as another review said the tip of the screw pulls the blades into the wood way too quickly shutting everything off and scratching the wood. I also bought a slightly smaller drill bit from Steelex. It was packaged in a very nice sturdy box - this one didn't have one - it was in a bag which was half torn. The first drill was clean and lightly oiled as expected, while this one was badly scratched. The tip of the smaller drill was not a spiral and I believe it may have been the fall of the larger drill. I never received a review email like all other Revain purchases. The woods I tried it on were pine and mahogany. I used a drill press. The first 2 photos are scratches, the 3rd is a comparison between 4 5/8 and 2.5 inches.
