Review on ๐Ÿ  Zoovilla Dog Crate: The Ultimate Dog Kennel and Cage Solution! by Jacki Beauchene

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This cage is great, but it has NO GENDER.

I would give 5 stars if it actually had a ground floor. THE BAD: A medium cage gives them 18 feet x 28 inches, which is a small average in my opinion. If your dog has to spend a lot of time in the crate every day, please give them enough space to stretch out. Don't be cruel. That being said I don't usually need to cage my puppies for more than 2 hours so I CAN put them both in here because they will crumple up. I usually only cage the black one as it's still a bit destructive (8 months). These dogs weigh 10-12 pounds. I would say if your pup is 15 pounds or more you need a large crate! Try to escape, so it's not a problem, but BEWARE - if you have an escape master, you'll need to mod this crate. This crate has NO BOTTOM and it just sits over a plastic pallet. She has a piece of wood that looks like a sill sitting straight in the tray's ejection port. It is non-fixed, non-articulating and non-locking. It slides out easily, giving your little Houdini enough room to lift the cage with his snout and pull his body out. I was thinking of drilling 2 holes in both pieces and inserting 2 removable pins but I don't think this will be a problem for my pups. WELL. It's very easy to put together - just make sure you figure out which end you want the single door on (the front is a double door). The kit includes all devices. He is durable. It doubles as a windowsill for my 12 pound rat to watch the cats outside and is sturdy enough for her to hop on and off all day. It is very beautiful and well packaged. No scratches or stains. I'll probably order another one now that I've seen it in action.
