Review on Newport Brass Ceramic Widespread Cartridge by Douglas Hall

NOTE: These cartridges have 16 slots, 2-5/8 inch, with 3 sets of threads. Hot water cartridge rotates counterclockwise to open and cold water cartridge opens clockwise. Just wanted to replace the leaking hot water cartridge but after replacing it I noticed the new hot water cartridge was buttery smooth compared to the old cold water cartridge. So I also replaced the cold water cartridge Water cartridge and everything works like new again. Tip: apply lube to the upper threads where the bell body bottoms out, years later you will be happy with what you did.
