Newport Brass Ceramic Widespread Cartridge Review

Ideal replacement for Newport Brass 850C. The hot side water was just a trickle. I was going to buy new faucets but now they cost over $700 each. Two valves replaced, the 1st took 10 minutes, the 2nd - 5th. All work is done on the sink. The only difficulty is that there are 2 set screws on each handle. Works like new, not bad for a 13 year old faucet.

NOTE: These cartridges have 16 slots, 2-5/8 inch, with 3 sets of threads. Hot water cartridge rotates counterclockwise to open and cold water cartridge opens clockwise. Just wanted to replace the leaking hot water cartridge but after replacing it I noticed the new hot water cartridge was buttery smooth compared to the old cold water cartridge.
