I made the switch from an iPhone SE, which had a size that I felt was just right for me. I was seeking for a smartphone that had a screen that was on the smaller side so that it could be operated with only one hand and fit easily into a pocket. In general, I did not give apple products any consideration because. It's getting old how Apple's software updates consistently transform my phones into jack-o'-lanterns. At the same time, there is a limited selection of small phones available, which is an odd development in the manufacture of shovels. I started out by purchasing a Huawei P30; but, despite being significantly larger and heavier than the Samsung, I found that it did not fit as well in the palm of my hand. As the release of the Samsung S11e (S20e) with the solution of shortcomings (below) did not occur as miraculously as I had anticipated it would, I was forced to settle for this model. The advantages, then: 1) The dimensions are just right. You only need one hand to use it, and it won't take up much space in your pocket. Made the transition from the tiny SE without any issues. 2) Being of a low weight. Holds securely while providing a comfortable grip. 3) The camera operates as expected. I wouldn't call it fantastic. It has a somewhat improved shooting ability compared to the SE. The stabilization of video is quite something! Minuses: 1) There is some sort of misunderstanding regarding the battery. After reading reviews, I believe that these are issues that are unique to certain devices. My aging SE 2022, which originally had a capacity of 1624 but now only has 1300 because the battery has worn down by 20%, functioned normally for two to three days. In my opinion, that was not sufficient. My experience with the new Samsung, which has a capacity of 3,100, has shown me that it is possible to discharge even more quickly. On the first day, it shut off after eight hours, and on the second day, it turned off after twelve. It is possible for it to remain dormant for around 1.5 days in standby mode if it is used very little. It's already too much that I have to charge every day, but I have no choice. 2) The place where the scanner for the power button is situated is in no way appropriate. Always need to take the caller's side of the conversation. After face recognition was used, the situation improved. Yet, there are still applications that require a fingerprint, and as a result, I am frequently reminded of this limitation. Also, when the screen is locked, the sound button is pressed at the same time as the shutdown button, which causes stunning screenshots of the desktop to be created. How the Samsung developers came up with the idea to put the button in this location is beyond my comprehension. 3) An unnecessary button for Bixby, which should have been replaced with a button for the power button.
