Ideal for low-carb burgers as no open toppings fall out of the salad wrap!

Not sure if it's because I use 80/20% beef or something but so far I've used it 3 times and the beef has never stuck. (The ground beef was a little sticky, but it didn't matter much). I don't spray paint the parts, I don't use parchment paper or anything like that. I was a bit clumsy with it at first, but then I watched a short video of the salesman showing me how to use the press and I had an aha moment. It is VERY easy to use. The only thing I didn't do the first time around was didn't sew the sides of the meat together, so my first experiment was almost like a keto quesadilla β€” two meat patties with stuffing in the middle. But surprisingly they still stayed together when my family put theirs on hamburger buns (I ate mine on a lettuce paper and it was AMAZING because nothing fell on the hamburger patty - it was all in the meat!). I've made fried red pepper strips and mozzarella for 2 and avocado slices with bacon and Havarti for 2 others). Yummy for everyone! They were actually so good that I repeated it a second time (and this time I put some meat on the sides of the press before...well, pressed and it turned out to be a beautifully sealed burger) . Simply sautΓ© them in a stainless steel skillet until brown, then reduce the heat, turning occasionally, until done. her) and I have to say it had some sticking issues. I was planning on either spraying it with cooking spray or trying parchment next time, but the chicken meat is dry and sad. I've never made a chicken burger before, just thought it would be fun to stuff with things like ham or avocado/bacon etc, but chicken meat just absorbs all the saliva from the mouth and exhales it. It was a bummer! If I hadn't stuffed them with that greasy avocado flavor, we'd have been dehydrated like prunes trying to eat them. :D However, beef is cool and we've become like mad scientists dreaming of future creations with those abs. Next time, for my carb-loving family members, I'm going to make meatballs from the ground beef (egg, breadcrumbs, basil, and some grated parmesan/romaine) and fill them with mozzarella and maybe a little marinara. Throw in some roasted red peppers. Toast the buns like garlic bread and maybe some sauce on the bun for seasoning. Hamburger was fun again with this press.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
